The Mid Iowa Archers organization was established in 2003. We have been working hard to build a family friendly nonprofit archery club here in the central Iowa area. Our home course is at the Warren Co Ikes, across the road from Lake Ahquabi State Park. We have a 40-target course in the surrounding woods around the lodge. The course includes both flat and hilly shooting. There is also a tower shot at the halfway point. The course consists of two different loops so archers may start at two different places. There is also a practice range with targets from 10 yards out to 50 yards. Another plus archers enjoy is the air-conditioned lodge with modern plumbing facilities for registration and lunch. MIA also hosts indoor potluck shoots during the winter. These include good food and fun for the whole family.

So whether you're the lone archer or have a family of budding archery enthusiasts, come join us for a fun time. We offer both single and family memberships. Members shoot our shoots at a reduced price! If you haven't shot a 3-d course before, members are on hand to take you through and explain the basics. A 3-d shoot is a great way to get ready for hunting season or just to enjoy the challenge of shooting the course. So pack up your bow and come out and see us!
